Everyday, I come closer to the conclusion that Silicon Valley needs government regulation if only to prevent them from censoring opinions incompatible with their personal and corporate beliefs. It's not too much to say that if the board can decide that their personal political beliefs should be championed and the opposition silenced, then they can likewise decide that you don't have a right to information they deem harmful to their business model. If there were realistic competition, people would just go elsewhere, but there isn't. They need to be broken up, and there needs to be laws put in place preventing American companies from helping foreign governments perform actions that would be deemed unconstitutional stateside. I.E. project firefly.
