I don’t mean to change subject, but I feel when personal anecdotes become involved m not responding to an argument on its merit so much as individual experience. On this instance your pain is far from anything I would want to challenge, but the language used I find very limiting. Edit: I’m curious do you guys disagree? I don’t really know how to say I disagree with the construct in a way that doesn’t feel like I may be swinging at a coping mechanism or have my message received in a more specific and personal context than intended; it makes an already difficult conversation less constructive and binary feedback isn’t really helpful
