the actual quote from the article is:

The article headline spins it as "Uber is 5,000 times worse".
The problem is "5,000 times worse" doesn't mean anything...it's mathematical nonsense. The headline is both false, and in quotation marks making it a double failure.
I don't know what happened to journalism, but quotation marks didn't used to be something you just put on things you made up.
