I see comments similar to this frequently, Fair Trade, big businesses need to rally other countries for basic income! America needs to do this or do that, only use slave free countries to make our goods! However a majority of Fair Trade marketed goods I've seen are fucking expensive and ridiculous as fuck too! $9 for a half pound of freshly ground Fair Trade certified coffee? Seriously? I'm sorry, as an American I can't see how that would work unless the profit margin is greatly reduced!
