Thanks for the advice but bro I've done everything people say to do. I've gone to networking events. I've also volunteered. I did an internship at a Fortune 500. I have stellar grades and a degree from one of the leading public schools in the country. It never worked out because the economy was shit and I never got a break. I didn't really post this to get career advice, but thank you anyway. I posted this to give an example of the OP's post about how fucked a lot of people are but don't realize it. I sure as hell didn't until I got into this spot. If you talked to me 10 years ago I never would have imagined I'd be where I am. It's over for me. I'm turning 30 this year. I'm not a young person with potential anymore, I'm just another middle aged loser. It's fine, society needs people like me for now. CVS still needs cashiers at least for a few more years before it becomes totally automated, after that I'll move on to another menial job maybe as a janitor, eventually I will be totally fucked and I'll either be homeless or I will live off the taxpayers.
