Don't worry. Self driving cars won't take over anywhere close to 15 years from now. Hell, the amish still drive their buggies on 55 mph roads. The technology may be there in 15 years to have a self driving car that can function in non-ideal conditions, but it will be very expensive.
Having them run by cheap computers does scare me though. If my car crashed as much as my computer or phone and was driven by Siri, I'm not sure if I'd die of a heart attack or a car accident first.
